An example of how the created tabs look like you can see on the photo below:

Well, or you can see a live example of the tabs on our website:

You can download the ready-made source of the tab script from the button above, and below, we'll sort out the script and add it to your site a little.

Point one HTML:

The first thing we do is connect js scripts to our page, connect them at the very beginning of the site, recommended before the body tag.

Note: If you already have jQuery on your site, then you do not need to connect it for the second time, as this can cause a conflict of scripts, which will result in the inability of the created tabs, and in general JS scripts on your site.

Next, we add to the html page a block with the markup of our tabs:

Point two CSS:

When creating tabs, we will use media requests in CSS that will allow us to position the tabs from horizontal to vertical and vice versa. Since we adopted the first mobile approach, the element has the definition: auto to hide part of the unordered list - the width of which is higher.
Also, we used -webkit to scroll: the touchscreen has a smooth scrolling that applies to the element:

In the end, we have the perfect tabs that will give a new look to your site, and help save a huge amount of its space.
